    Would amend Rules 16(k) and adopt Rule 65.3 of the Rules of Civil Procedure to implement SB1566 (Laws 2026, Ch. 71).

    Filed: July 16, 2026

    Would amend Rule 16 and adopt a new Rule 65.3 of the Rules of Civil Procedure to conform to recent legislation regarding the scheduling and expediting of the legislation’s newly created “malicious delay” cause of action.

    Comments due no later than October 1, 2026, and any reply due no later than October 15, 2026.
