(520) 724-3708 Email: [email protected] Attorney Bar No. 017377 Filed: January 7, 2025 Would amend Rule2(b)(1) of the Rules of Procedure for Special Actions to provide that a party may not seek special action relief in an original special action if there is an “equally plain, speedy, and adequate remedy by law.” Comments must be submitted by no later than Thursday, May 1, 2025, and any reply by a petitioner must be submitted no later than Monday, June 2, 2025.

Reply in support of Petition to Amend Special Action Rule 2(b)(1). I support the State Bar's recommendation to place the proposed rule change in a new Special Action Rule 3.1, but I suggest slightly different language than that suggested by the State Bar.
