    Filed: 8 April 2025

Would amend Arizona Supreme Court Rule 123 (the Arizona judicial department's version of public records law) so that in courts without public computer terminals for public records, court documents can still be accessed for free. Many justice and municipal courts do not have public computers where people can access public records. It would be nice if this were to be considered an emergency petition for consideration of this year's consideration, but it is beyond the deadline, so I might have to wait until 2026.

    Filed: April 8, 2025

Would amend Rule 123 of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Arizona to provide that if a court does not have a computer terminal where members of the public may view court records, the court must make available to the requestor paper copies of requested records at no charge.

Comments due no later than June 16, 2025, and any reply by Petitioner is due no later than June 20, 2025.

This is with regards to the Rule Change Petition on the Rules Forum R-25-0039. It is not allowing me to respond on the forum.

Petitioner hereby moves the Arizona Supreme Court to give an extension of time to Petitioner to respond to the comment from David Byers regarding rule change petition R-25-0039. There appears to be a 20 June 2025 deadline to reply on the forum. Eli Dalton-Webb was not notified of David Byers’ comments. Mr. Dalton-Webb thought the comment period had already expired, but it appears this deadline has been extended. The only way he found out was being curious and looking through the forum online.
Mr. Dalton-Webb wishes to have extra time to do research and respond to Mr. Byers’ comments.

Submitted respectfully this day, 20 June 2025,

The deadline for submitting a reply in connection with his petition is extended from June 20, 2025, to July 8, 2025.
